National Grid is exploring updating the existing South Yarmouth LNG facility – replacing the existing storage tank and liquefaction system – and has requested CH∙IV to perform a preliminary siting analysis for the facility following current DOT PHMSA methodology for determining exclusion zones and demonstrate compliance with 49 CFR Part 193 siting requirements. To support the siting analysis, CH∙IV also prepared a conceptual level engineering design including a basis of design, plot plan, process flow diagram, and equipment list.
