TOTE Services (TMPR) contracted CH∙IV to help install a temporary enclosed Vapor Combustion Unit (VCU) on a JAX LNG facility mooring dolphin to actively vent non-condensables (N2) rich gas from the Clean Jacksonville LNG barge Cryocoolers. This was to be an interim solution to vent the gas while upgrades were made to the barge.
To support a Management of Change (MOC) Report for this installation, CH∙IV facilitated a Hazards and Operability Review (HAZOP), which was held with key team members from TMPR, Foss Maritime Company, and Dominion Energy. After the recommendations were agreed by all key team members, CH∙IV issued the HAZOP Report for the Client and regulators.
