News: CH·IV International awarded Owner’s Engineering contract for Encina’s Circular Manufacturing Facility

CH·IV International is pleased to announce the award of its comprehensive Owner’s Engineering (OE) Services by Encina Development Group for the Point Township Circular Manufacturing Facility in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.  CH·IV has been providing permitting advisory and management services to the project since 2022. The OE award extends the scope to additionally providing engineering oversight, risk management, commercial, and project services support to the project development team throughout the project lifecycle.

Encina manufactures drop-in circular chemicals using an integrated single-stage catalytic conversion process that takes hard-to-recycle plastics and transforms them into their base building blocks that customers can use to make new consumer products. This process can be repeated over and over. The innovative solution will allow Encina’s flagship Point Township facility to divert up to 450,000 tons of previously non-recyclable waste materials every year from landfills, incinerators, streets, and waterways.
