CH·IV’s staff of employees has a combined total of over 150 years of engineering experience covering the entire LNG value chain. From gas treatment and liquefaction for peakshaving or export, through marine and land transportation to the final import regasification and delivery of the gas to the consumer CH·IV has the experience to handle it all.
CH·IV’s parent company, MPR Associates, Inc., of Alexandria, Virginia, complements the CH·IV LNG experts with a technical staff of over 170 experienced engineers and scientists and a long history in the energy industry.
In addition to our primary office in Hanover, Maryland, CH·IV maintains a permanent office in Houston, Texas.
Jeff Beale, President
Jeff has worked in the LNG industry for 30 years. In 2001, Jeff founded CH·IV International from CH·IV Corporation. He specializes in design, safety, security and operations of LNG Import Terminals. Jeff has published over 50 articles, papers and journal publications pertaining to cryogenics, LNG, and LNG vehicles. He is author of "Introduction to LNG Safety", a world- renowned book explaining the properties of LNG and how these impact personal and public safety. Jeff serves on the NFPA 59A LNG Committee, AGA Supplemental Gas Committee and as a member to the Cryogenic Society of America. Jeff has a BS degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Ohio State
Arthur Ransome, Vice President & General Manager
Arthur has 25 years of experience in the operation and management of power generation and LNG terminal assets. Arthur's expertise includes project management, asset development, asset management, regulatory permitting support and also facility operations. Arthur gained an MBA from the University of Teesside in the United Kingdom.
Michael Diemert, Vice President & General Manager
Michael has worked in the LNG business since 1974 and has been with CH·IV since 2002. He has extensive experience as project director, director of operations and business development while working around the world. Michael is a leading project developer for application processes for Deep Water Port licenses for LNG Offshore Regasification Terminals with the United States Coast Guard. Michael holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Technical College, Koblenz, Germany.
